Chris Paul DraftKings NBA

Welcome to the 2017 NBA Playoffs! At Detroit Sports Outlet, we will look at our NBA DraftKings targets for Saturday, April 15, 2017. There are 4 games on the docket, with big matchups across the board. Enough talk, let’s get to the NBA targets for guards.

DraftKings NBA Playoff Targets РApril 15, 2017 Р Guards

Giannis Antetokounmpo – $10,200

Giannis has been a breakout star for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2016-17. He played against a Raptors team that was without Kyle Lowry for most of the year. Despite that, Giannis averaged 49 DraftKings NBA points per game against Toronto.

He shot nearly 60% from the field against a strong Raptors defense that averages 6th in the league against small forwards & point guards. Giannis has a high usage rate for the Bucks and all offense must go through him to survive.

Look for the Greek Freek to have a strong series against Toronto.

Mike Conley – $7,200

Conley is another player who will be the main offensive threat for the Grizzlies. The matchup against the Spurs won’t be a new one, but Conley will have high usage for DraftKings NBA this series.

The Spurs have always had a strong defense, but Conley will have another high usage for the Grizzlies. The Memphis point guard averaged 35 DraftKings NBA points in 4 games against San Antonio.

Conley won’t bring a ton through assists & rebounds consistently, but expect big points in the scoring department. He & Zach Randolph are the most reliable scorers for the Grizzlies, so know that Conley will have solid drives to the basket & three-point attempts.

Chris Paul – $8,100

Paul has been strong for DraftKings players in the last 10 games. In 8 of the last 10, Paul has at least 8 assists & over 40 DK points, leading the Clippers to home court.

Paul was the best point guard in the NBA towards the end of the season, hands down. He had his main weapons in terms of passing back in Blake Griffin & DeAndre Jordan.

CP3 averaged 37 DraftKings points in 4 games against Utah, however Paul didn’t have his full complement of stars. The Clippers have dominated Utah lately – winning 18 of the last 20 meetings.

J.R. Smith – $3,900

Smith has averaged over 25 minutes per game over the last 10. During the stretch, Smith, as he has been for his career, is a volume shooter.

He will take a ton of 3-point shots, & some nights will be cold. But when he is on, he is an amazing DraftKings pickup. Look for him to get plenty of open offensive chances from a Pacers squad allowing almost 45 DK points to shooting guards a game.
