DraftKings NBA DFS Picks – March 19, 2017 (Early)

Dirk Nowitzki DraftKings

Good afternoon/morning to everyone today, we have a double set of DraftKings NBA DFS picks for March 19, 2017& these picks are going to be for only the early slate. We will have another post later for the games that begin at 6:00 p.m.

Tyler Ulis – $6,500

With Eric Bledsoe being shut down for the rest of the NBA season, Ulis is going to get a heavy workload & will be depended on to run the offense & take most of the main shots. Against the Pistons, not only is Bledsoe out, but the team will be without Tyson Chandler & Brandon Knight. Look for Ulis to create his own shot & get plenty of assist opportunities getting the ball to Devin Booker. At $6,500, Ulis is a great value on a weak slate early on. In the last 2 games, Ulis is averaging a double-double and has double digit DraftKings points in 9 of the last 10 games. The young point guard is a great usage option and will get the chance to play loose & fun against a reeling Pistons team.

Marcus Smart – $6,100

Another great point guard value in this slate of games. Smart is starting in place of Isaiah Thomas who is resting until Monday. The combo guard has had 3 great games against Philadelphia this season, at least in terms of DraftKings points, averaging 34.3DK points per game. Overall, Smart has had over 20 DraftKings points in 9 of 10 games. Coming down the stretch, Smart is going to be a strong option to play at a utility guard position, even when Thomas is back in the lineup.

Avery Bradley – $6,300

Bradley should benefit greatly from not having Thomas in the lineup on Sunday in terms of gaining scoring opportunities & going against a terrible Philadelphia 76ers squad. Bradley has averaged over 40 DraftKings points in two games against the 76ers this season & is currently on a 5-game streak of scoring over 20 DraftKings points. He is averaging right at 30 minutes per game, so look for his overall usage to be strong against a 76ers team that is middle of the pack in giving up DraftKings points to shooting guards.

T.J. Warren – $6,900

Warren is another benefactor of having Eric Bledsoe & Tyson Chandler out for Sunday’s game against the Pistons. Warren has over 40 DraftKings points in 3 of his last 5 games. He has gained an extended amount of usage & minutes since Bledsoe has been ruled out for the season. The Pistons are among the worst teams in the league in terms of guarding the small forward position, giving up 43 DraftKings points per game, but an alarming 56 DK points per game over the last 5 games.

Harrison Barnes – $6,200

Barnes is a strong option against Brooklyn on Sunday. The small forward has been playing close to 35-40 minutes per game, leading to 9 of his last 10 games over 25 DraftKings points. He had a bad game in a terrible loss on Friday night against Brooklyn, but that was a blip in the radar. Brooklyn has not guarded the small forward position well, giving up 47 DK points per game over the last 5 games.

Andre Drummond – $7,100

With Tyson Chandler out for Sunday’s game, Drummond should be able to dominate against Alex Len & Alan Williams. Drummond has been a bit up & down lately, but with the Pistons literally fighting to get into the 8th seed for a playoff position, games like this have to be won, so look for Andre to have a good night. In the only matchup against the Suns, who are top 10 in least amount of DraftKings points given up to centers, the former UConn Huskies center had 18 points & 14 rebounds.

Dirk Nowitzki – $6,300

Dirk has reverted back to his old self since the all-star break, averaging over 30 DraftKings NBA points per game & is pushing hard for the Mavs to get into the 8th spot in the West playoffs. The dominant German legend had a bad game against Philadelphia on Friday, but the whole team was terrible & that is not something that should be considered long-term.
